Why do I need Roadside benefits?
Whenever you are traveling, anything can happen. Without quality roadside assistance, you not only have to pay for the unexpected high costs of roadside service but you assume the responsibility of searching for a nearby service provider that will be available to assist you. When you have a VIP Plus or VIP Plus Gold Roadside Plan, you simply pay a one-time annual membership fee and you are covered for 3 roadside claims per year up to $75 each (VIP Plus Plan) or $100 each (VIP Plus Gold Plan).  And anytime you need roadside assistance – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – you simply call our 800 number listed on your membership card and/or mobile app and our dispatch advisors will send you an on-site service provider. If this is an emergency or you are not in a safe location, please dial 9-1-1 for assistance.

What does the annual membership include?
The annual membership includes 24/7 roadside service in the U.S. and Canada. Service includes: Towing, Jump Starts, Tire Changes (with your inflated spare), Vehicle Fluid Delivery (cost of fluids extra) and Lockout Assistance (cost of key cutting/ replacement extra). You are covered for 3 incident claims per year up to $75 each (VIP Plus Plan) or $100 each (VIP Plus Gold Plan). This is in addition to the great discounts you will receive on car maintenance and repair, significant savings on hotels, car rental discounts and entertainment theme park discounts.

How many times can I use the service in a year?
myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance provides services to members and their families up to three (3) times per membership year (12 months).

What is “Sign & Drive”?
“Sign & Drive” means you do not pay out-of-pocket to the on-site service provider.  If the service requested exceeds the limit of $75 (VIP Plus Plan) or $100 (VIP Plus Gold Plan), you will be responsible for payment at the time of service.

Is my spouse covered? What about children?
myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance makes services available to your spouse and children who are living at home or are away at college as long as they are under the age of 22 with a valid driver license. They experience all of the same benefits at no additional cost. Memberships are restricted to three (3) claims total per twelve (12) months.

Who is considered to be a family member eligible for service?
A family member includes you, your spouse and dependent children living in your household or away at college under the age of 22.

How many membership cards do I receive?
One membership card is issued in the name of the enrolling member.  Additional cards may be requested at a cost of $3/card to cover postage/handling.  An activated myEZ Car Care mobile app on your smart phone also has an electronic version of your membership card.

When will my membership be activated?
Once we receive your payment, activation of your membership will be complete after 5 business days. Then, you will receive your membership card in the mail within 1-2 weeks after purchase.

When will I receive my membership card?
You will receive your membership card within 1-2 weeks after purchase. However your mobile app has a digital version of your card once activated.  We highly recommend using our mobile app as your phone will generally always be with you.

How do I become a member?
Simply purchase your membership online with a credit card - Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted or go to a participating Credit Union and they can sign you up.

Does myEZ Car Care Roadside Assistance cover me while riding or driving in Canada? How do I get service if I am in Canada?
Yes, myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance provides service in Canada. We have the capability to dispatch service in the US or Canada from one toll free number.

What is the average response time when I need help on the road?
myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance typically services most members between 30 – 45 minutes or up to 60 minutes in rural areas. Response time will vary due to weather conditions, traffic patterns, and your location.

Does myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance cover all the vehicles I own?
Yes, as long as they fit our vehicle criteria, membership benefits apply to you and your family members who may be driving regardless of whether the vehicle is owned or leased.

What vehicles are not eligible?
Vehicles designed for commercial use such as vans, trucks, and trailers, taxis, limousines, licensed for professional use are not eligible. Motor Homes and Recreational Vehicles are also excluded. This program is designed to cover cars, light duty trucks, SUV’s and motorcycles licensed for personal use.

If I don’t have a spare tire, how will a tire change work?
If you do not have a usable spare tire, myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance will tow your vehicle to the nearest facility capable of making needed repairs.

How does fuel delivery work?
If a member runs out of gas, sufficient fuel will be delivered so that you can reach the nearest fueling station. Member is responsible for the cost of fuel.

Does myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance cover any parts or mechanical work?
No, we do not cover mechanical work. myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance provides towing, jump start, fuel delivery, flat tire changes and lockout services.

What if I am in an accident, will myEZ Car Care’s Roadside Assistance assist me?
No, police involvement prevents us from being able to assist you in the event of a car accident. We recommend you go through your insurance company in the event of an accident to fully maximize your benefits. In addition, many insurance companies have a claim process that is much faster and less costly if their process is followed from the time the accident occurs.

What if I am on a toll-way or turnpike?
In some cases, the toll-way or turnpike has its own towing agency and does not allow us to send you assistance. It is acceptable to use their towers and send in your towing receipts to us for reimbursement consideration.

EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Emergency Roadside Assistance is available on a “sign & drive” basis throughout the United States and Canada, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For prompt service, simply call the appropriate number listed on your membership card or mobile app for any of these benefits: Towing, Jump Starts, Tire Changes (with your inflated spare), Vehicle Fluid Delivery (cost of fluids extra), Lockout Assistance (cost of key cutting /replacement extra). “Sign & drive” provided benefits mean you incur no out-of-pocket expense - up to a maximum benefit of $75 each (VIP Plus Plan) or $100 each (VIP Plus Gold Plan).  Service fees exceeding this maximm benefit are the responsibility of the Member. *A member can only use this benefit a maximum of three (3) uses per 12 months.

Arbitration
In the event, the Member and myEZ Car Care Roadside Assistance disagree on the amount of a covered loss or whether coverage is provided for under this Membership, each party may agree to submit the dispute to voluntary and non-binding arbitration. Each party further agrees to share equally in the cost of arbitration and either party may demand a three-member-arbitration panel.
